Welcome to Final Nook. Everything we carry has to meet The Nook Standard — function and aesthetics, together, making any place feel like home, big or small, long or short-term.
That's exactly why we started with dorm rooms. A dorm is temporary, assigned, half-decided before you even move in — but none of that means it can't be home. The Nook Standard is how a place you're only in for a year still ends up feeling like yours.

It Started With the Art
Two botanical prints. Two completely different rooms.
Sometimes one piece of art tells you exactly what room it wants to live in. That's what happened with Black Hellebore and Cactus Flowers — two designs from India & Purry, the collection by New York artist Jessica Hollander, painted first in oil and watercolor. We loved her backstory. What we loved even more was that we could already see the rooms.

The moodier one
Black Hellebore
Oversized botanicals, high contrast, almost black-and-white. The print had presence, so we let it lead: a restrained foundation, then charcoal, cream, and natural texture layered in — nothing competing, everything holding its own.
The result feels collected, not matched. Sophisticated enough to have a point of view. Comfortable enough to actually live in.

Cactus Flowers
Same starting point. Same dorm layout. A completely different mood.
Cactus Flowers is warmer and more playful, so the room followed — soft neutrals, texture, mustard accents. Relaxed instead of graphic. Finished instead of styled.

One room doesn't have to look like every other room.
Every dorm room starts the same: Twin XL, desk, dresser, walls you didn't choose. That sameness is exactly why the first real decision matters.
We started with the art instead of ending with it — then asked what belongs beside it, what colors repeat, what stays quiet.
Black Hellebore went deep and graphic. Cactus Flowers went light and warm. Same starting point. Two rooms.
You don't need a plan for the whole room. You need the first thing you love.
This is just the beginning.
